The Community Advisory Group provides input into the Smith Creek Area Structure Plan process and is part of the overall public consultation plan for Smith Creek. The following is a timeline for the Community Advisory Group meetings with a breakdown of what is to be discussed at each meeting.
The CAG is a selection of volunteers who represent a range of local perspectives from across the Canmore community. The role of the CAG is to provide advice and input to the Town of Canmore and TSMV throughout the development of the Smith Creek Area Structure Plan (ASP).
Interested in finding out more about or potentially being part of the Community Advisory Group? The CAG will be composed of people with a range of interests and expertise, and will meet monthly for the next year. The draft Terms of Reference for the CAG are available here.

The Smith Creek Area Structure Plan Phase 2 Exploration Report was completed December, 2015. Phase 2 focused on developing a draft Concept Plan and vision for the Smith Creek development. This report was presented to council February 9, 2016/
The information boards from the Open House held on October 5, 2015 cover information pertaining to conversations and activities of the Community Advisory Group (CAG), including contextual consideration maps, potential land use types, guiding principles for development in Smith Creek area and next steps.
The Smith Creek Area Structure Plan Phase 1 Public Engagement Report was presented to Council on August 18, 2015. The Public Engagement Report provides a summary of what has been heard from the community and the discussions with the Community Advisory Group to date.

The Smith Creek Area Structure Plan Terms of Reference was presented to Council and approved on Tuesday June 30, 2015. A Terms of Reference is required to be developed and subsequently approved by Council to define the scope, identify required studies, and outline the range of issues and the scope of evaluation to be covered through the process.
An overview of the collaborative process between Three Sisters Mountain Village and the Town of Canmore that will facilitate the creation of a policy document that is built upon the principles of working together in order to find solutions and seek common ground.
